How to Fix a Samsung A50s That Won’t Charge

If your Samsung A50s isn’t charging, don’t panic!

Step 1: Remove the Back Cover & Mid-Frame

This softens the adhesive and makes it easier to open.

💡 Tip: Keep the heat even and gentle to avoid damaging the plastic cover.

Use a thin blade to make a small gap between the cover and the frame.
Once you have a gap, add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol.

This helps loosen the adhesive.
Slide a plastic pick around the edges to fully release the back cover.

Pro tip: If it feels stuck, add more alcohol and be patient.

Next, remove 13 screws and take out the SIM tray.

Use a pry tool to unlock the clips holding the mid-frame, starting from the SIM tray side.
Gently lift and remove the mid-frame.

Step 2: Replace the Charging Sub-Board

First, disconnect the battery to cut power.
Unplug all BTB connectors and the coaxial cable connected to the charging board.
Carefully lift the faulty charging sub-board out of the phone.

Take the new charging sub-board, place it into position, and reconnect all cables,
including the battery.
Make sure everything is firmly connected to avoid charging issues later.

Step 3: Reassemble & Test

Reinstall the mid-frame and press it down to secure the clips.
Screw everything back into place.
Put the back cover on and, for better sealing, use clamps for about two hours.
Don’t forget to insert the SIM tray!

Now, turn on the phone and test it.
