📝 Step-by-Step Guide
1. Heat and Remove the Back Cover
Start by using the Polar Tech Magic Self-Heating Pad to soften the adhesive.
Insert a thin metal tool to create a gap, then use a plastic pick to work around the edges. If it feels stuck, add a few drops of alcohol.
2. Take Out the Battery and Sub-Board
Unscrew the motherboard bracket (10 screws) and disconnect the flash FPC carefully.
Unplug the battery connector and pull the adhesive tabs to remove the battery.
Next, remove the sub-board bracket — the charging FPC is pressed beneath it.
3. Install the New Charging FPC
Align the new FPC properly and press it neatly into the frame. Pre-bend where necessary for a better fit.
Reinstall the sub-board, reconnect BTB connectors, and tidy up the coaxial cable.
4. Reassemble and Seal
Put the battery back, reconnect the flash FPC, and reinstall all 18 screws.
Replace the back cover with a new one if damaged, then clamp the phone for about 2 hours for the best seal.
✅ Final Result
Once fully reassembled, the OPPO Find X5 Pro should charge normally again. With patience and the right tools, you can perform this repair at home and save on costly service fees.
